LIST:

Mackie R "Mack" Wheetley, A Co, 2nd Bn, 60th Inf. 09/68-08/69, Sikeston, MO. Mack sent me a roster, with close to 600 men from 2nd Battalion 60th Infantry for 1969.

William T Buckley, C Co, 3rd Battalion, 60th Infantry, 12/66-09/67, Brooklyn, NY.  Bill and I have been working closely to find men from Charile Company 3/60. Together we have shared hundreds of names.

Mobile Riverine Force Association http://www.mrfa.org/index.htm sent me the 2001 roster of all of the Army men.  I am on the board and working to increase the membership.  I have kept every issue of RiverCurrents, which is a wealth of names and information. Also I was given the list of all 2,658 KIA's from the 9th Infantry Division, which are listed with  Units.  To date I have been able to make several correction to the information.

Bob Pries, B Co, 2nd Bn, 47th Inf., West Chester OH. Provided me with a list of 206 men from the 2/47.

Russell E Vibberts Jr, HHC, 2nd Bn, 47th Inf, Stafford Springs, CT. Provided me with the current roster 1821 men from the 2/47, we shared databases.

The 2/47 Association http://www.angelfire.com/tx3/247infantry/ provided me with their roster of 1814 members, Feb. 2002.

It seem that everyday I get 1 or 2 e-mails from someone who gives me a list of several of his buddies that he is looking for or that he has.

I am a member of the following organizations:  Military Order of the Purple Heart, Combat Infantryman Association, Vietnam Veterians.  Each of these groups list men in some way and the Units they served with.  If I find a e-mail I will contact the person to find out if it is any good and request if I can put the e-mail in this web site.

I have sent e-mails to the men listed on the 9th Infantry Division Web Site http://www.oldreliable.org/ .  I invite them to take a look at my site and send me any updates they can to help in the cause of finding their buddies.  I have along with Bruce Swanander have helped many at this site in what ever way we can, check out the Message Board.

I wish to make it clear that if I am asked not to use someones e-mail, I delete it.  I never give out addresses or phone numbers, to individuals or non 9th Infantry Division Members.  I do share the list I have with the web master or the president of a Unit Association, if requested. I feel this is the best way to build everyones list, by sharing information.
